I began Locke Wedding co. nearly 6 years ago as an outlet from the regular monotony of office life, desk work, and the need to engage with people. Wedding coordination was and is the perfect way to combine my creative and organizational side. Outside of weddings, I also work for an environmental company, Anew- where I develop GHG reduction projects, and I love it.
I live by a motto very dear to my heart:
THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
& that is how I operate - with a drive for perfection.
I love a steaming hot cup of tea, books, my hubby, and our two dogs. We can be found hiking in Kananaskis country, golfing, snowboarding in the winter, and binging a good old Star Wars marathon.
Christine is a highly organized, fun-loving, mountain dweller with a knack for event coordination. She has a background in marketing and always had an appreciation for the creative side of things. Christine joined LWco to help amazing couples enjoy every possible minute of their big day back in 2017. Her clients regularly refer to her as a ninja.
Christine loves to spend free time camping with friends, enjoying a night out in the city, or soaking up the summer time sunshine.
Shortly after getting married herself, Stacy got into day of coordination after using LWco. for her own big day. "Kelsey had such a positive impact on the flow and organization of our day, I just knew I wanted to do the same for other couples." As a fine arts teacher by day, Stacy regularly plans professional development conferences, school assemblies, graduation ceremonies, and musical theatre productions. Now she can add 5 years of wedding coordination to the list too! Stacy's favorite part is to watch the love stories of other couples unfold, and helping them ensure they get to enjoy every moment of their wedding day. While not teaching or coordinating, Stacy spends her time with her daughter Quinn, pupper Sophie and husband Graham.
Amy - An engineer by weekday and wedding coordinator by weekend. She love using her organizational skills to make sure everything goes smoothly for her couples on their big day. Amy's favourite part of wedding coordination is in the lead up where she really gets to know her couples and understand their vision for their wedding.
Outside of work you'll find her in the climbing gym or in the kitchen trying a new recipe. Amy will never say no to a trip to the mountains, especially if tackling difficult climbing routes are involved!
Carys first got to know Kelsey when she was her Day Of Coordinator back in 2018. "I loved her so much I had to reach out and ask her to teach me the ropes." She quickly developed an admiration for being on the vendor side of a wedding and watching her clients way unfold. She may be fighting back tears along with you on the day!
Carys is a devote fan of weekly trips to HomeSense, scrolling Pinterest, or catching a movie with her husband Mike. A random fun fact about Carys is that she has a (self proclaimed) unhealthy obsession with Chicken Nuggets ... but who doesn't?
Carys is based in Toronto, serving both our Ontario and Alberta clients when she comes back home for a visit xx
